Simplify for Joy #30: Trash

Your car is not a trash can.

That's probably what many people would like to tell me. Often.

I've grown into the habit of emptying my car once a year before it goes in for its annual service, but Erica's got a point. That's just plain lazy. It would be far more efficient to use my refuelling stops as personal reminders to check my car for trash, and then discarding it in the nearest rubbish bin.

P.S. I'm starting to feel like all these bits of advice is more for me than they are for Marli. Her car is always spotless...
