Introductions
Hi,
This is the very first collaborative blog post from Marli & Esteé. We're two very different cousins (on our mothers' side), who just happen to also be soul mates. Our lives do not conform to what society wants them to be at this stage (around 30), and the random words 'dill' and 'dallas' inexplicably give us the case of the giggles. Every. Single. Time.
We don't fully understand or truly experience Sunday Funday. We get the Sunday Afternoon Blues - that moment on a late Sunday afternoon when you realise the weekend's over, and that there are only a few hours that remain between that moment and the monotony that is your weekday life. Understandably this usually turns quite a few of our visits into philosophical (and often nostalgic) in-depth discussions.
Recently this feeling has become more prominent as we realised that absolutely nothing is wrong at the very same time that everything's not quite right, and we decided that something needs to change. We're not yet sure what this something might be, but we want to share our journey/s with you as we try to battle our way back to who we are once the daily grind has been scraped away.
